I am a local businessman, attorney and a proud Zebra alumni. I decided to run for the Board of Trustees for Western Placer Unified School District because I believe that our district has potential that has not yet been realized. I want to help craft solutions that will benefit the District now and into the future.
I believe that with proper planning and a strong vision and leadership, we can prove that this district offers a first rate education and dynamic opportunities in both college preparatory and career education paths.
My platform is based on three focus areas: Long Term Planning, Financial Solvency and Recognition for our Students, Employees and Schools.

Career Highlights
For the last ten years, I have been a practicing attorney in Lincoln performing as a general practitioner. For the last four years, I have served as general and outside counsel to two nationwide security businesses handling all matter of civil and criminal cases.
My commitment to public service started early on when I served as City Treasurer from 1996 to 2000 for the City of Lincoln.
From 2000 until 2016, I served on the Lincoln City Council sevring as Mayor in 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016. At various times, I headed the City’s finance , public safety and public utilities committees.
Some of the projects I oversaw during my City Service were the Joint Library Building Committee (which is a central component of the new 12 Bridges High School campus), Regional Water Supply Project to direct a new supply of drinking water to the greater Lincoln area, and the development of the Mid-Western Placer Regional Sewer Project which took underperforming waste water plants off line and combined sewer service into a single treatment plant with higher standards of treatment leading to a more environmentally beneficial outcome for all citizens of Placer County.
Since 2013, I have served as a public member on the Board of Directors for Project Go, Inc. which provides housing and energy efficiency upgrades for low income seniors and families. From 2017-2018, I Served as the president of Project Go, Inc. During this time we worked on buying out private partners in our housing projects and ensuring that we have a long term plan for providing housing for low income families and seniors in Placer County.
